Agenda Item: Battle of Çanakkale
The Çanakkale War, also known as the Dardanelles Campaign, was a major conflict of World War I that took place between 1915 and 1916. It was a strategic attempt by the Allies, including British, Australian, and New Zealand forces, to gain control of the Dardanelles Strait and open up a sea route to Russia. However, the campaign was fraught with difficulties, as the Ottoman Empire, with support from Germany, fiercely defended their territory, resulting in significant losses on both sides. The Çanakkale War was a defining moment in the history of modern warfare, with innovations in trench warfare and amphibious landings that would influence military tactics for years to come.
With that said, the Çanakkale War crisis committee at TEDUMUN '23 is not for the faint of heart. This is an advanced committee that requires delegates to think on their feet and make quick decisions in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. As a crisis committee, the Çanakkale War simulation is designed to challenge delegates to come up with creative solutions to complex problems and adapt to unexpected events. We welcome experienced MUN delegates who are eager to take on the role of world leaders, diplomats, and military commanders, and who are ready to tackle the challenges of this historic conflict head-on. Join us for an exhilarating and unforgettable experience at TEDUMUN '23!

United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women)
Agenda Items:
1-Eliminating Child Marriage
2-Assessing the Current Situation of Female Genital Mutilation
Child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM) are harmful practices that violate the rights of girls and women. Child marriage refers to any formal or informal union where one or both parties are under 18 years old, while FGM involves the partial or total removal of external female genitalia for non-medical reasons. Both practices have severe consequences on the physical and mental health of girls and women, depriving them of their autonomy, education, and opportunities. Addressing these issues is crucial for achieving several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 5, which aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, Goal 3, which aims to ensure healthy lives and well-being, and Goal 4, which focuses on providing inclusive and quality education for all.
This committee is perfect for both experienced and first timers. Since the topics are currently related with everyday life it is crucial for delegates to find up to date solutions for the upcoming experiences they may came across throughout their own lives. We look forward to your contributions and we welcome you all to TEDUMUN’23

Agenda Items:
1-Enhancing the Sustainable Development Goals and Achieving the Goal 7 and Goal 13
2-Energy Crisis
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
Agenda Items:
1-International Energy Security
2-Region of Ukrain
Ukrainian war seems to be regional, and it seems like only regional countries are affected and concerned by the war; this fact is quite the opposite. Since 2014, conflicts between Ukraine and Russia, such as the annexation of the Crimea and Russia cutting of gas supplies from Ukraine, have made Ukraine want their ties closer to NATO. Energy crisis is a big problem to be solved in the world since Venezuela and Lebanon are also in a big energy crisis to this day. In TEDUMUN’23, delegates must focus mainly on solving the problem of energy and finding ways to provide International Energy security globally.
