The year is 1908. The revolutionaries within the Ottoman Empire, who are members of the secret society called the Committee of Union and Progress, began to organize a revolution with the goal of forcing Sultan Abdul Hamid II to restore the Constitution and recall the parliament. Kolağası Resneli Niyazi Bey retreated to the Albanian highlands and revolted. He was later joined by Ohrili Eyüp Sabri Bey and Binbaşı Enver Bey, in addition to other Unionists. Connections with the Third Army in Salonica were well established, and with the help of local Albanian supporters, the revolution grew larger. The battalions of Resneli Niyazi Bey and Ohrili Eyüp Sabir Bey managed to kidnap the commander of the forces in Bitola Müşîr Tatar Osman Paşa. Establishing control over Bitola, the Unionists declared the Second Constitutional Period: The Young Turk Revolution.
The Ottoman Empire is now going through its last few years of its last-long-century. The Bulgarians are on the verge of independence, Austria-Hungary demands Bosnia, Balkan states want to push the Ottomans out of the region, Italians aim to invade Tripoli, Unionists want to establish full control, a global war is on the horizon... The enemies of the Empire are everywhere, and they are especially organizing from within. They want to destroy the once magnificent Empire that forced European kings to bow... Factions within factions in politics, mutiny in the army, corruption in bureaucracy, an illiterate society, the imperialists waiting for the inevitable: Düvel-i Muazzama at the gates of Kostantînīyye… Only an iron-fist can save the Empire. The question is whose will it be?

AGENDA ITEM: Gender-based inequality in global health systems
Gender-based inequality in global health systems is the systemic inconsistencies in medical treatment, research, and access to care that stem from social biases more than biological differences. Historically, medical research has predominantly focused on male physiology, and that has caused a gap where women’s symptoms are frequently misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or ruled out and dismissed as psychological issues. On the other hand, rigid gender norms regarding masculinity often discourage men from seeking preventative care and mental health support, which leads to delayed diagnoses. These inequalities result in global healthcare environments becoming where the patients' gender significantly dictates the quality of the care they receive. This committee aims to find more ways to make health systems more inclusive and equal for all genders by addressing the research and care gaps between genders and reforming global health systems with the delegates' help.

AGENDA ITEM: Preventing Youth Involvement in Crime and Violence
Around the world, many young people are increasingly vulnerable to crime and violence due to social inequality, lack of education and employment, and exposure to gangs or substance abuse. These risks not only endanger youth but also undermine community safety and long-term development. This agenda focuses on strengthening international cooperation, prevention policies, and rehabilitation programs to address the root causes of youth involvement in crime. Delegates are encouraged to examine the roles of governments, law enforcement, and community organizations while proposing sustainable solutions that promote youth empowerment, early intervention, and safer environments.

AGENDA ITEM: Reforming Global Supply Chains to Reduce Exploitative Labor Practices
Global supply chains have created economic benefits worldwide, but they have also led to widespread exploitative labor practices, especially in developing countries. Many workers face unsafe conditions, low wages, and limited labor protections due to weak regulations and corporate pressure for low-cost production.
This agenda focuses on how international cooperation, stronger labor standards, and corporate accountability can reform supply chains to protect workers’ rights. Delegates are encouraged to examine the role of multinational companies, international regulations, and monitoring mechanisms, while proposing sustainable solutions that promote transparency, ethical sourcing, and fair labor conditions across all stages of production.
