Member states are called upon to debate and formalize the implementation of the '2035 Defence Investment Pledge,' which mandates an increase in annual defense spending to 5% of GDP. Delegates must address strategies to strengthen the defense industrial base through enhanced transatlantic cooperation, ensuring that the Alliance possesses both the military readiness and the societal resilience required for future conflicts.

Agenda Item: Strengthening international cooperation to combat transnational human trafficking networks.
Freedom is not always taken by force; sometimes, it is sold. In today’s world, human trafficking has transformed freedom into a commodity, allowing organized criminal networks to profit from human vulnerability. What begins as hope for a better life often ends in exploitation, coercion, and modern slavery.
Human trafficking is no longer a hidden crime. It thrives across borders, within labor markets, migration routes, and digital platforms, feeding on weak regulation and global inequality. Victims are stripped of autonomy and reduced to tools of profit, raising a critical question: is human trafficking driven solely by criminals, or enabled by systems that fail to protect the most vulnerable?
At the center of this fight stands United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, tasked with dismantling transnational trafficking networks while strengthening prevention, justice, and international cooperation. Because defending human dignity does not stop at borders.
The question remains: will the international community protect freedom as a fundamental right or allow it to remain one of the most profitable crimes of our time?
Doğa İnce and Aleyna Bozkurt will be serving as Co-Under Secretaries-General for this committee.

Agenda Item: Protection of Undersea Cables and Data Infrastructure.
The agenda is about undersea cables and data security. Essentially, this undersea cable network makes a global backbone that transmits more than 95% of international data, either as internet traffic, financial transactions, or government communications, around the world. The lifeblood of connectivity and the global economy is exposed to destruction by natural disasters or human activities, such as fishing and anchoring, and potentially sabotage and spying. The continual increase of geopolitical tensions in what has become an increasingly cyber-physical invaded cyberspace has increasingly ignited the urge to rethink priorities towards increasing resilience through stable international frameworks to protect this basic infrastructure. This takes the form of international cooperation towards safer, more maintainable, and more resilient undersea cable networks through better technical standards and shared intelligence, reinforced by strengthened legal mechanisms under international maritime law.
Çınar Mehmet Erduran will be serving as Under Secretary-General for this committee.
Agenda Item: Open Agenda
It is May 1920, and the future of the Ottoman Empire seems grim. The Entente has recently finished its occupation of Istanbul, arresting the members of the Ottoman Parliament and the prominent members of the Committee of Union and Progress still in Istanbul. The Greek occupation, on the other hand, is moving deeper and deeper into Anatolia. With the scene set, the newly founded Grand National Assembly takes its historic duty. However, the politics of the GNA are not stable. Right and left-wing notables and thinkers of Anatolia present a hardy opposition within the assembly, with the first left-wing faction the Green Army founded this month. Right-wing and Islamist groups are starting to form their own factions. On top of this, there is a rising criticism coming from the remaining organization of the Committee of Union and Progress. The newly found TKP in Baku and the actions implying a wish of return from exile by Enver provide a challenge from outside. Only time will tell whether or who will achieve the grand goal of liberating the state and transforming it in their own image.
Bora Oğuz, Berkay Akpınar, and Akın Kızıltepe will be serving as Under Secretaries-General for this committee.
